Punxsutawney Phil

Six more weeks of winter. That’s according to Punxsutawney Phil on Monday after the little guy popped his head out of his home and saw his shadow.

Now, I’m not entirely sure whats going on with this but we as humans have been dragging this poor critter (a groundhog) out of his hole since 1886 when the tradition was started. The average lifespan of a groundhog is about 4-5 years with 80% of the population of groundhogs not surviving their first year of life.

You can do the math and see there is something not quite rite. Either Punxsutawney Phil is the oldest groundhog in the world or there is some conspiracy going on here.

I personally think this is a prime example of a Dread Pirate Roberts scenario.

I think that when this Punxutawney Phil is finished with his fame and fortune he will retire and pass the name on to another groundhog to carry on the tradition.

There you have it…another conspiracy revealed.

I’m back…Mwahahahaha
